I would like to start by thanking you for visiting Digital-Exhibition.co.uk. I’d then like to say just a few words to introduce myself and this website.
My name is Simon Walker, I am a full time PhD student researching the phenomenon of ‘Digital Exhibition’ (aka digital cinema, electronic cinema, d-cinema, e-cinema, other digital stuff, etc) at the University of Bradford (Department of Electronic Imaging and Media Communications).
Upon completion of my PhD, scheduled for the end of the 2007 academic year, I will be seeking employment within Britain’s Digital Exhibition industry. Thus, this website serves two purposes:
Firstly it acts as a gateway through which I can release my thoughts (on ‘Digital Exhibition’), and gather knowledge from those who are kind enough to contact me.
Secondly, this website is intended to provide potential employers with a comprehensive picture as to what my studies have involved, and a suggestion as to what I will be able to bring to their organisations.
I hope that you will find my work, and my curriculum vitae, to be of interest - and if you do please do not hesitate to get in touch.
e-mail: inquiries@digital-exhibition.co.uk
l look forward to reading any and all comments.
Many thanks for your time,
Simon Walker
